When the Honorable Yvonne Brathwaite Burke, Chairwoman of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, was looking to tap young talent to develop County public policy and enhance 2nd District constituent services in South LA, Jason got the call.  When the Honorable Eric Garcetti, Mayor of Los Angeles, the second largest city in the Nation, was looking for someone to help strengthen and lead efforts on his City Commissions, Jason got the call.  When President Barack Obama was looking for someone to advise him on the development and production of national education conferences, Jason got the call.  The common denominator is not in the titles, but that Jason L. Seward has been answering the call to lead for over 20 years as one of the Nation’s youngest and effective global visionaries in business, entertainment and public service. 

 

Seward owns Jason Nation LLC, a holding company and global conglomerate specializing in multimedia entertainment, production, philanthropy, and retail brands that appeal to, showcase, and support young professionals and diverse communities. Seward founded, owns and currently serves as Executive Producer of Your Turn Intern LLC, a full service company providing specialized intern recruitment, expo consumer show production, and retail brand promotion services that target college students and recent college graduates around the Nation. Seward also serves as Owner & Principle of NBUSIBLE LLC, a highly coveted Los Angeles-Based consultation firm, specializing in business start-up, business development, intellectual property & trademark protection, and capacity building.  

 

Previously, Seward led efforts to advise President Barack Obama and the White House Office of Public Engagement, on the development and implementation of non-partisan educational conferences in 17 cities that sought to bridge President Obama's vision with the needs of young Americans.  Locally, Seward has been a pioneering force to advance local government, while empowering residents to contribute to change as a distinguished Commissioner representing Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti for almost a combined 10 years, on both the Innovation & Performance Commission and the Los Angeles Convention Center Authority. In this capacity, Jason L. Seward has contributed his expertise in working with the other distinguished leaders from the public sector & private sector to improve the responsiveness, efficiency and quality of City of Los Angeles department services, tourism into Los Angeles and more to keep Los Angeles at the forefront of being a destination City. Seward served as a Senior Deputy to Los Angeles County Supervisor Yvonne Brathwaite Burke, whereby he advised the Supervisor on public policy and constituent service delivery impacting economic development, special event production and education.  

 

Seward holds a Bachelor's Degree (BA) from Indiana University and a Master's Degree from the University of Southern California (USC) in Public Policy, emphasizing Intergovernmental Relations and Management.  Above all, this young champion of goodwill remains humble and passionate as he continues to deliver the blueprint to reach, serve, and advance local communities and the next generation of leaders as an Entrepreneur, Government Advisor, Philanthropist and most importantly, a Believer.
